Physical Therapist

I was an athlete in high school and discovered physical therapy when I broke an ankle one summer. I was amazed at what a physical therapist could do without drugs or surgery. When I went to college, I remembered my physical therapy experience and decided to become a physical therapy volunteer, and I quickly found out that this is what I wanted to do with my life. And I've never regretted my decision since.

Interaction with my colleagues is very important. The first benefit that comes to mind is the free flow of information that has had a direct influence on my practice over the years. The second benefit is knowing that something I may have recommended to a colleague has made a difference for a patient I'll never meet. That gives me great satisfaction.

Kathy Borrelli, PT, OMPT

Physical Therapist

As a High School senior I investigated several career options to help me make the decision on "what I should do when I grow up." Physical Therapy was appealing because it would allow me to help others improve their life. I have been a physical therapist for 26 years and have never regretted my decision. In Physical Therapy you are always growing and learning as you work with different people and different problems. I am inspired by patient's that are able to battle back from terrible problems and always have a smile on their face. I many times receive as much from the treatment as the patient! Early on I felt a calling to help others, with Physical Therapy being an answer to my prayers.

  • BS - Physical Therapy - University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago, IL - 1980
  • OMPT - Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy - Oakland University - Rochester MI, 1998
  • LICENSURE - Arkansas (2005), Michigan, Illinois

I appreciate the ability to share ideas with other therapists concerning patient treatments. We all have had different experiences in our careers, and each patient is an individual, so a technique or treatment that worked well with one person may not be the best for another. Having a good working environment where there are other colleagues to brainstorm with on how to help a patient is important to me, and I feel that I have that environment at Harris & Renshaw Physical Therapy.

My dad was a physician and my mom was a nurse, so I was surrounded with a medical influence and love for science growing up. As a runner and soccer player in high school, I took part in physical therapy to rehabilitate some of my sports related injuries. I was fascinated by my therapist and his immense knowledge of the anatomy of the human body, his intentionality with developing rapport with me and his other patients, and his commitment to helping me heal in order to return back to sports. My experience as a patient sparked an interest and desire to pursue physical therapy as a career.

Garrett

Garrett Miller, PT, DPT, PTA, DN-CertPhysical Therapist

I decided I wanted to be a physical therapist fairly early in life. My dad was a physical therapist, and I grew up running around the clinics he worked in as a child. I was also very active in sports, and I realized pretty quickly that I wanted to work with athletes. As I grew up, I realized that the same care I wanted to give to athletes could benefit people from all walks of life. Helping people return to the pain-free activities they love and the interaction with patients is what ultimately led me to become a physical therapist.

  • DPT - Doctor of Physical Therapy, Arkansas State University, 2024
  • A.A.S. - Associates of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant, Arkansas State University, Jonesboro AR, 2021
  • BS - Exercise Science, Arkansas State University, Jonesboro AR, 2019

Debbie Winchester

Debbie Winchester Physical Therapy Technician

While many people may not consider making a long-term career as a physical therapy tech, I've invested 19 years in the field, and it has been one of the most enriching and rewarding experiences of my life. Working at Jacksonville Physical Therapy, I've had the privilege of meeting individuals from all walks of life. Some of these interactions have blossomed into meaningful, lasting friendships. Watching Jacksonville Physical Therapy grow over the years has been an incredible journey, and I'm proud to have been a part of its evolution. Being a part of this company for so long has allowed me to witness firsthand how much we've grown-not just in size, but in the impact we've had on the lives of our patients.

Outside of work, you can often find me with a camera in hand, capturing moments with my family, or enjoying one of my favorite pastimes-trout fishing on the Little Red River. It's in these moments of tranquility that I find balance and perspective, bringing a sense of peace that complements the busy and fulfilling days at work.

Office Manager

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years. I met Bo in 2006 when I had shoulder problems. Discovered it was Frozen shoulder. I do not deal well with pain, so therefore I was a terrible patient! Even after all my canceling appointments and crying during appointments, Bo hired me as the Office Manager. I started as a manager of 1 and now we have 4 clinics. I love my job and all the people I have met over the years.

On my off time, I love spending time with my family. My husband Jack and I have a son and daughter, and a daughter in law and son in law. We also have 6 perfect grandkids! 3 Boys and 3 girls! Anyone that knows me knows that they are our pride and joy! We love beach vacations with our friends and family.

For the past seventeen years, I have had the privilege of working in the medical field. I have worked in several different specialty offices through the years, holding different administrative positions along the way. Working at Harris and Renshaw is my first venture into the physical therapy world and I have enjoyed the more personal interaction with the patients that I have not experienced before.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, Jason, and our four daughters: Emily, Charley, Maggie, and Mackenzie. I am ALL about my family. We enjoy going to the lake, go carts, shopping, baking, or just staying in and watching a movie. I am a proud softball mamma with three of my four daughters playing the sport, so we spend a lot of time on the field.

I am a native Arkansan and have been a proud member of the Harris and Renshaw Physical Therapy staff since 2010. I enjoy getting to know all of our patients and helping them, when needed, to better understand or to resolve any issues they may encounter with their health insurance companies. I started out in the healthcare industry at age 18, working 8 years for a large national health insurance company. Although I enjoy working with insurance, I found it more my calling to work from within a clinic setting where I feel like I can be of better service to the people in my community. I feel like I come to work each day and get to see many of my friends and sometimes relatives, all people I care about and want to help. I am grateful for this opportunity.

When not working, I love to be with my family and friends (and my cats), preferably camping or at the lake with the kayak and sipping sweet tea.

Dana Spickes - Front Office

Dana Spickes Front Office

I've had the pleasure of being a part of Jacksonville Physical therapy for the past three years, and I've witnessed tremendous growth in the company during this time. What initially drew me to this incredible organization was its strong foundation as a Christian-based company, which resonated deeply with my values. Interacting with people has always been a passion of mine, and this job is a perfect fit. The culture here is one of genuine care-not only for our patients' well-being but also for each team member's growth and success. I love knowing that we make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. As we continue to grow, I'm excited to see how many more lives we can touch and positively impact. I'm proud to be a part of a team that truly values its patients and looks forward to watching Jacksonville Physical Therapy flourish even further.

When I'm not at work, you can usually find me outdoors, enjoying some of my favorite pastimes like camping and fishing. I'm also a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks-if it's Razorback related, I'm watching! But what I cherish most is spending quality time with my kids and grandchildren and making memories that will last a lifetime.
